We can't have pepper spray in the USA either. Matter of a fact I think guns may be easier to get then pepper spray out here

I totally agree with Jim but lets face it if he didn't have a gun he probably would have used one of those bombs he rigged his house with instead.

Yeah but still fire weapons should be used one my the military an only.
It should very, very hard for anyone else to use them r get a license to use them.

i guess it's difficult for some countries to imagine a gun free society.......imagine police without guns and not having to worry about gun battles on your 'doorstep'?...it's a different kind of society.......you don't need to buy guns to feel safer.....sure there are the crazies and criminals who somehow get weapons but they are very rare.......
As i say the UK is very stabby at the moment so we're not perfect but the perpetrator of a stabbing has to come into contact with the victim, not so in shooting, so it's easier to kill with a gun......
The USA should look to Canada as the best influence..........

I think in the UK there are certain areas in London and Manchester where by people do get access to guns. This seems to be the drug dealing community and they tend to be shooting each other up not out looking to unload their anger at life. People now tend to get angry very quickly and feel slighted and disrespected and instead of trying to deal with what caused that tend to just want to pick up a gun and have their moment in the limelight, it's crazy. So I guess not having easy access to guns prevents this crazy trend going on with young men today.
