conjecture until Jim himself confirms it. Let's face it though, it makes no difference. He's still Jimmy, and as long as he's healthy and happy...you don't define a person by a disorder.

he has already confirmed it years ago

Exactly
He has found better ways to deal with it now but it will always there.

He also made a joke about it just recently on Oprah
Oprah "Are you always like this?"
Jim "Only when I am on the upper side of manic depression"

Wow are you kidding?.... I didn't know that....... I mean... sure he is the same Jim, but I have a friend who has bipolar disorder. It's not good, it's sad now to see Jim can get extremly down, but then extremly happy. Because with Bipolar disorder there is no "inbetween" you're either happy or down.
Are you SURE Jim did confirm he had bipolar? That thing on oprah doesnt really count........

do you like him any less? why is this an issue? many people have disorders, as long as he deals with it the best he can, isn't that all that matters. Alot of people with disorders don't even acknowledge it and don't admit it, the road to recovery is admiting one has a problem and dealing it as best one can.
If a person only has one hand do you like them any less? I hope not.
We all have disorders of one kind or another, whether mental, physical, spiritual, emotional, none of us are perfect nor should we expect one another to be perfect, accept them for who the are and love them for who they are, whether big, small whatever, whether he does or not, really it's none of our business as long as he takes care of himself, understands his limitations and gets help when needed. I agree with fluffy.
Anyway I got sidetracked now I'm going to write what I was thinking about.....
