Ok, now this is an upcoming movie that I am truly excited about! I really hope he does this and all goes as planned! It's got the right amount of realism and comdedic elements! It's perfect! This is the kind of comeback film Jim needs!

Filmmaker David O. Russell ("Three Kings," "The Fighter") is said to be in consideration to helm the comedy "Under Cover" for Summit Entertainment reports The L.A. Times.

Jim Carrey is attached to play a man trying to win back his family. He turns to the therapeutic power of a classic rock cover band to help him rediscover his voice.

Mandeville is in talks to come onboard and produce. Several other directors are said to be under consideration to helm alongside Russell.

I don't think he still is attached for "Under Cover". It has not been announced that he signed a contract for it. The report they refer to is a rumor from September 2010.
