Aw, no hate here. Although...the White Devil might be paying you a visit in the not so far future...
(You still haven't read it yet...
)
Haha! Nah, everyone has their own journey. (Except that baby cow getting a bolt to the brain...his journey is over!
)
A lot of veggies/vegans and animal rights people get emotional because they are passionate about the plight of animals. Some of these vegans get angry, or resentful even, and don't know how to deal with that or how to channel it into positive activism. I still get angry from time to time. Let's face it, we wouldn't like someone harming our dog or cat. And if someone did, we would be upset and very likely angry. Perhaps we would even physically defend our pets. Vegans and animal rights people feel that strongly about all animals. Not just the ones our culture/conditioning decides are safe from harm. But veganism is supposed to be about compassion. The definition is compassion to animals. Most extend that to mean humans too.
It's a complicated serious issue, especially regarding health and environmental destruction. (My mind goes to the shrieking vicar's wife in the Simpsons "Won't someone think of the children!" But I try to keep a sense of humour about it, and most things. No hate. (But hurry up and be vegan!)
(Great! I've become that stereotypical vegan, banging on about animals and vegetables!)
Lets change the subject!?
(Although before we do, do you think Ace, as a passionate defender of animals, would be vegan?
)
