Ode to mom.....

Postby Canadian Jayne » Sun May 12, 2019 11:34 pm

I may have posted this earlier but
If i didn't
Moms are amazing
My own including.....
My mom in the 50's
Built her own house,
Started as a single mom,
My dad was out of the army
And worked for A. V. Roe
Saw this feisty woman
Attempting to build her own house
Few woman would attempt this feat

Mom kept plugging away.
My dad, b4 he was my dad,
Probably felt sorry 4 her,
But mom was bound and determined
Of course i came along years later after
They married
The 3 bedroom house still stands on
The outskirts of Toronto in Mississauga
Im thanking God sent me such an
Industrious and amazing mother

For those who have an Ode to mom
Please write down something that
Made your mom amazing and share it
Sometimes we sll under estimate
The value of moms whether your
Own or a surrogate mom
Someone who took us into
Their arms when we needed help

Jims tweet
Of himself
Green eyes snd all
Reminds me of my grandkids
The day we celebrated Mother's Day
They were sooooooo fired up and
Full of energy that we had to go to the
Soccer Park for them to get all their energy
Out
Thank goodness it was a very Big field
Just imagine all with Jims spikey hair;)
