Spit Test - Detecting Covid- What about?

A few months ago I suggested
The Spit Test and finally some things
Are happening on that
But this morning
I awoke a thought
Why cant they test
The masks that
People wear every day
Eg Blue n white ones

I wear one at least 4 hrs a day
During week and do
Physical labour
I sweat, breathe,sing,talk and
Spit does drool(worst part of this)
Into the mask
Why cant there be a quick
Way to test elements in mask
To ensure u dont have it

Like when they do a pregnancy
Test
Or how u dye your hair
And combine contents and
Come up with a different colour
When something is mixed
Many of these masks go
To garbage, we may be able to use them to fight more to find a

More timely way to
Manage what's happening
Today
Eg. Use mask, put in baggie
After use, label it, put in drop box,
Send 2 lab or
do a home test
Thats now on my wish list

What I dont understand is
University of Toronto shows
An article on research done on
Masks
Detecting those with Covid
The article says They developed
A mask that kills Covid so
Why are they not available
To most public?

BC has a gargle test for Covid
Not alot of reports since
Niv on how tgat is going
But it is a promising technique
Especially fir school kids
Hopefully it will be available
To Ontario soon
