Continuing with the "Disney's A Christmas Carol" publicity round, Jim Carrey appeared on the Ellen show on 2/11/09 where he began by launching into a topical weather balloon family gag and joked about his beard and body hair 'It's is just a style choice, but you've got to make some adjustments', denying it's for a specific film role.
Moving onto Halloween Jim revealed Jenny hated his costume choice, the Geico Caveman and Evan was scared. Confessing Halloween is the only time of year he can be disguised like everyone else, he used to answer the door with a "The Mask" mask on, 'no-one guessed it was the real 'Mask' behind the mask'.
Launching into some serious facial acrobatics Jim then demonstrated his poker faces, which Ellen admitted were crazy during a game and Jim joked about healing a wheelchair bound audience member.
After showing a clip from the film, Jim revealed he was filming for around 6 weeks in lycra, with lots of prior preparation and spoke highly of the new technology.
'Its the best actor driven medium, the actors performance drives the medium' In the film he plays 4 stages of Scrooge throughout his life. 'I had a blast, the story is in our DNA'.
