The LA Premiere of 20th Century Fox's new family movie "Mr. Popper's Penguins" was held yesterday at Grauman's Chinese Theatre. Jim Carrey and penguins walked the white carpet with ice and snowflakes accompanied by some of his penguin co-stars. It was a great day where Jim Carrey looked very happy and had time to meet his fans and sign autographs.

Jim Carrey's co-star Carla Gugino attended the premiere along with Madeline Carroll, Ophelia Lovibond, Maxwell Perry Cotton, Philip Baker Hall and Clark Gregg with family. Also sharing the white carpet were Dick Van Dyke and Tommy Davidson.

According to Reuters, Carrey, said the film is special because of the family entertainment it provides.

'Number one was the penguins, I went, ok if it's not a horrible story I'll be interest. Number two is, I love the idea of the family aspect of it. I wanted to do something for kids and I know how important it is for parents to have a movie to bring their kids to and they can enjoy as well and everybody has a good time,' said Carrey. 'And, there are sweet little lessons for everybody. It's like the story of a person who has a dad who's an adventurer and explores everything in the world except for his relationship with his son.'
