"Dumb & Dumber To" Ready To Go On The Floor
15 Jan 2013

By Priya Baboota (Web correspondent)

The Farrelly Brothers who made "Dumb & Dumber" with Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels, are ready to make its sequel called "Dumb and Dumber To" soon this year. They mentioned that If they were going to do a sequel it was always going to be Dumb and Dumber!

They are thinking to continue from the scene and story they left the movie when Lloyd and Harry were walking back home being happy with each other's friendship and hoping for another opportunity.

Earlier Jim Carrey wasn't much interested in doing the sequel because of some problem of the other. But, one day he called up the Farrelly Brothers when he was sitting in a hotel watching TV and "Dumb & Dumber" howling that "We gotta do another one! To which they replied: "That's awesome, let's do it."

Dumb & Dumber

The Farrelly Brothers have a script they're happy with and ready to make even if they hadn't started production in September as planned. The story of the sequel would be like the first one in the form of continuity which means that they will pick up from that 20 years later, and explain what they've done for the last 17 or 18 years, they take off from that and it's just a lot of laughs.

It's at Warner Bros. and right now it's being financed outside the studio, but it will be released by Warner Bros. The Farelly Brothers said that if we liked the original movie, then we will like the sequel too because it's the same and more. It's really fun.

So, let's keep our fingers crossed and wait for the production to start!
