Warner Bros. Passes on Dumb & Dumber To

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. has decided not to move forward with "Dumb and Dumber To", which is the sequel to the 1994 blockbuster. Despite the fact that both Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels have agreed to star with the Farrelly brothers set to direct from a script they already prepped, the studio doesn't feel ready to greenlit the project for unknown reasons!
The first Dumb & Dumber film was released by New Line Cinema. In 2008, it was acquired by Warner after suffering from a string of box office failures like The Golden Compass and Semi-Pro. It's unclear if New Line is still interested in the project or the sequel will have to be released by another studio.
