The Late Show with Stephen Colbert
07 Feb 2020

By Eva Arajo (Web correspondent)

Question: What happens when two amazing people meet? The answer is pure entertainment! Jim Carrey was at The Late Show with Stephen Colbert Show to promote his upcoming movie "Sonic the Hedgehog" and he didn't disappoint.

Jim was wearing a black shirt, black pants, shoes with golden stars and a dark blazer with yellow and blue crossed lines pattern, Jim made an entrance worthy of a Mardi Gras parade! With a purple and gold slash around his chest and an umbrella, Jim danced around the audience, followed by the show band, before he sat down to talk to Stephen.

They talked about Sonic and Stephen even show a picture of Sonic on the ceiling of the set ad when Jim asked: "Where's the yang?", a picture of Dr. Robotnik also showed up. Then a clip of the movie was showed:

After the commercial break they talked about Jim's paintings of political cartoons. Jim say they are both lighthouse keepers and then he dramatizes it, making everyone laugh. They end up talking about mangoes, because Jim has been using them as an example in his latest cartoons and Colbert ends up giving Jim a real one:

At the last part of the interview Stephen gives Jim the challenge of re-enact in a dramatic way some of his most know comedy lines. Needless to say: Jim nailed it!

Seeing Jim is always a pleasure but seeing the two together is an adventure!
