Holiday Release of "Amighty" to be Remembered

Final Memorial Day holiday film revenue tallies are in. "Bruce Almighty" stayed at the No. 1 spot with a total of $86.4 million. The records it set this holiday still stand.
Universal just wanted revenues in the $50 million range. That's what they were shooting for. But Jim worked his hiney off promoting the film (as we all know), so we think it paid off pretty well. Also,the timing of the release was great.
A big congratulations from us all to Jim, everybody who worked on the film, and Universal for a great film and for doing above and beyond expectations. It's been "B-E-A-U-Tiful!"
